Provably Fair Games

Do not trust us. Check us.

You bet on Under & Over 7 or Spin the Wheel. We tell you the result. So how do you know we did not look at your bet first, then pick one that loses?

You cannot watch our servers. So instead we lock in the randomness before you bet, in a way we cannot change afterwards and you can verify yourself.

To be clear about what that does and does not mean: there is no result sitting there waiting to be handed to you. What is fixed in advance are the ingredients, and the fingerprint proving we did not change them. Your dice or your wedge only come into existence when you play, and they cannot be swapped for different ones afterwards.

The four ingredients

Every result comes from exactly these, and nothing else.

Server seed

our secret

A long random number we generate. It stays secret while you play, because anyone holding it could work out the next roll and only bet when they were going to win.

Server seed hash

the sealed envelope

A fingerprint of that secret. It gives away nothing about the number itself, but the same number always produces the same fingerprint, and nobody can find a second number that matches it. You see this before you bet.

Client seed

your half

A random number your own device creates and keeps. We never choose it and never see it before you play, which is what stops us from shopping around for a secret that happens to suit us.

Nonce

the counter

Your seeds stay the same across many bets, so a counter ticks up by one each play: 0, then 1, then 2. Same seeds, different counter, different result every single time.

What happens when you play

Notice where your bet sits. Everything that decides the outcome is already fixed before it.

  1. Before you bet

    We seal the envelope

We generate a secret number and show you only its fingerprint. The secret goes into the safe.

  2. Before you bet

    Your device adds your half

A random number generated on your phone, not by us, goes in alongside our secret. You do not have to set it up and you can shuffle it any time.

  3. Your bet

    You place a wager

Nothing about the randomness can change from here. Every input is already locked.

  4. Instantly

    The result is computed

Secret plus your seed plus the counter, run through a fixed recipe. The same three inputs always give the same dice, which is precisely what makes it checkable.

  5. Whenever you want

    You tap verify, we publish

The secret behind that play becomes public and is attached to every play made under it. Your phone then confirms the fingerprint and re-runs the result, and shows you whether they match.

The wheel you see is a replay

Your dice and your wedge are decided on our servers before the response reaches your phone. There is no randomness in the app itself. The spinning and tumbling is an animation of a result that already exists, which is exactly why it can be proved afterwards.

How to check a play

One tap, and your own phone does the checking. You do not need to understand any of the above to use it.

1

Tap verify on any play

In your play history, open a result and tap verify. That is the whole action on your part. Everything below happens for you.

2

The secret gets published

If that play's secret is still sealed, it is released now, permanently, for that play and every other made under it. If it was already released, nothing is disturbed.

3

The fingerprint is checked

The published secret is hashed and compared against the fingerprint you were shown before you ever placed that bet. A match means it could not have been swapped afterwards.

4

The result is recomputed

Your phone re-runs the recipe with the secret, your device's number, and that play's counter, then compares against the dice or wedge you actually got. This happens on your device, not ours.

Common questions

Is my secret a new one for every play?

No. One pair of seeds covers many plays, and the counter is what makes each result different. That is normal and it is what lets a single check confirm a whole run of plays at once. Your pair stays live until you rotate it, however long that is.

Has my secret been revealed yet?

Not while you are still playing on it. Publishing it early would let anyone work out the next result before deciding whether to bet, which would break the game. It is published the moment you rotate.

Do I have to set anything up?

No. Your half is generated on your device the first time you open the games, and it is sent with every play automatically. You can shuffle it whenever you like, but you never have to. The strong version of this guarantee is the default, not an option you have to find.

Can you change the result after seeing my bet?

No. That would mean finding a different secret with the same fingerprint you were already shown, which is not something anyone can do. The fingerprint is the commitment, and it is fixed before your bet.

Do I have to do anything technical to check a play?

No. Tap verify on any play and everything happens for you: the secret behind it is published, and your phone recomputes the result and compares it. If that play was already checkable, nothing is disturbed at all.

Where the honesty ends

Two separate things are proved here, and it is worth knowing which is which. The fingerprint proves we did not change your result after you bet. Your device generating your own half proves we did not go looking for a favourable secret before you bet.

What is not proved is the software running on our servers. No casino anywhere can prove that to you from the outside. What this system does is make every individual result checkable against a commitment made in advance, so that a dishonest one would leave evidence. We would rather tell you where that line sits than pretend it is not there.
